The Impossible  Blu-ray Review

This Blu-ray video and audio quality are very very good with an  Aspect ratio: 2.35:1 MPEG 4  decode and stunning English: DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 audio.
The movie is a true story of the Tsunami that hit Thailand in 2004 its hard to believe that its been 9 years. It starts off with the family on the plane and interestingly highlights that most of us worry about wether we have locked the doors/set the alarms, wouldn’t it be nice in life if that’s the worst of our worries.
The family then are shown on the beach inside a gorgeous Thailand resort Naomi Watts plays the Mother and Ewan Mcgregor  the Father and they have 3 sons.
Nobody has any clue what is about to unfurl as the Tsunami comes ashore.
The movies powerful story is then one of survival as the Mother and Eldest son are swept away and the mother has a serious leg injury.
Some local people take her to the Hospital. The Dad with the 2 young sons desperately try to find them but with the devastion its impossible to know where they are.
Character development and storyline are very well done and Naomi Watts and surprisingly Ewan Mcregor  put in really great performances.
Overall I really enjoyed the movie and it is a strong recommendation.
